That’s what I noticed when uploading the hardcover version. Amazon didn’t show the printing cost in Canadian dollars. Neither did it let me choose the price for amazon.ca. It did for paperback, but not for hardcover. Both books are live now. Yet, if you check them on amazon.ca, it only gives you the choice between the paperback and the e-book. The hardcover option is there, but it shows a dash instead of the price. You actually have to go to amazon.com to order it.

I priced them at the lowest allowed amount ($9.99 US for paperback and $16.25 for hardcover) just to cover the printing costs and Amazon fees. I'm keeping these prices (along with the 99 cents for the e-book) until Cyber Monday wraps up. If you've been waiting for the physical book to come out (paperback or hardcover), here’s your chance.

What’s interesting is that they list November 25–30 as a possible shipping date for hardcovers. However, when I ordered the author copies, Amazon provided a shipping window from December 8 to January 2. (As opposed to December 3rd for paperbacks.) Are they being overly cautious by pushing back the estimated delivery date, or are hardcover author copies given the very last priority? Maybe I should just cancel my order and buy regular copies instead? I'd rather pay an extra $6 per copy than wait an extra month.

Something else I noticed is that that amazon.ca only shows one review, while amazon.com shows both. Hopefully, it's just a matter of time until they synchronize. And, speaking of reviews, please consider leaving one if you haven't already. Let's try to make it at least 10 by the end of the month. I know, Amazon doesn't like incentivized reviews, but maybe it’s okay if I make a little prize draw for everyone who shares his thoughts? What do you think?

Have a great weekend,

Leonard.
